    Uninstall BBLINK....reboot PC......reinstall Link and see if that enables recognition.

    Found a solution ! Create a new account on Windows 10 (administrator level). Then open BB Link via the new account. BB Link opens up fine and works perfectly.

    Unfortunately the suggested workaround on page 1 did not work for me. Link still will not start up. I'm afraid I use iTunes too much to risk tinkering with it as BlackBerry suggests.

    Does anyone know of any non BB Link related ways to backup BB10 phones now?
