The charger for the PassPort puts out 1300 mA current, so any 1 Amp (1000 mA) charger should work fine, but will take a bit longer to fully charge. You can also just plug it into a computer USB port.
You're better off not wasting your time, and just buying a generic one from pretty much anywhere. I saw some at the UPS store yesterday while I was getting something notarized... next to the pens and whatever other cheapo things they want you to grab while checking out.
Honestly,.. don't waste a second more of your life on it.

You should contact the vendor. Don't buy any generic charger. You need at least 1300mA otherwise it will charge wayyyyyy slow.
They should send you a new one.
