I was charging my z30 and stepped out, when I got back it was showing SOS. I took it to my service provider and they couldnt figure it out. I eventually changed the sim slot but to no avail. I guess it's an issue with blackberry z30 dying gradually. What a bad Denise to a BEAUTIFUL phone /OS

It may have been marked stolen. Those are all classic signs. It could easily be that the seller did exactly that, months or weeks after you bought it. It's happened before.
Go to settings > security and privacy > sim card and scroll down. If it shows all of them in the unlocked state, it's been marked stolen.

In this example, would another term applicable be called "blacklisted" or does that mean something else?
I changed my sim tray 3 times but one funny thing was it recognised other phone networks except my service provider. I inserted my wife's sim cause we use the same service provider and it did not recognize her sim too. Is z30 dead to my service provider? Even when it sees other networks, it only sees them in 3g 'ONLY'
By the way, my sim and my wife's work well in other phones
