    The phone randomly switched to another language. I determined it was Basque despite the fact that it is set to English (US). All of the screens are written in Basque. How do I restore the phone to English?

    try going to settings/language and input and see if you can change it back to English.
    You can delete all those languages from your phone if you want to. I don't keep any of them on my phone because i don't use any of them.
