I am getting emails back from friends saying I have been hacked and they are receiving emails from me.

What does this have to do with your BlackBerry? You realize it can come from any device.

Make sure you delete any apps that you think are compromising your email and change your password on a known safe computer. Viruse scan all devices.. etc etc

I have been having the same issue regarding a business email. I've called and had the password changed and deleted the account off my phone. I'll be resetting my phone to see if the issue is sorted.
