    I have literally tried everything, I've been all over the forums and have been Googling since yesterday.

    Why is it in safe mode? I didn't make it enter safe mode. Rebooting will not exit safe mode, holding down the power button for any amount of time just reboots it into safe mode. Powering it off and turning it back on reboots into safe mode.

    I've even uninstalled the latest apps I put on it in the last week (even though I know they have nothing to do with anything).

    Any help would be appreciated. This is so frustrating, nothing will stop it from booting into safe mode.

    One of your volume buttons is stuck in the pressed position. Take the phone out of its case, or jiggle the rocker a bit.

    Then reboot.

    Thanks for the troubleshooting tip. It turned out to be my volume button. When I removed then replaced the case and rebooted, safe mode disappeared.
