    This problem has been intermittent for some time especially overseas but is now permanent back in the UK- Need to know if its a hardware or user malfunction!! My network provider is EE- Glad of any assistance- Simon

    Well, first the usual stuff: presume your model correct for your carrier; have you tried replacing the SIM; have you tried removing the SD card?
