    No idea what kind of 'lock' it would be. Have you tried simply rebooting your device?

    If you are a heavy user, you may have worn out the buttons? Very unlikely, because the phones are of good quality. I had a BlackBerry Pearl for 5 years and didn't have any problems and I am a very heavy user.
