    Your phone became hot because the OS is settling. Give it time to settle. New OS is indexing your apps and contacts.

    Yeah I would think it should be settled by now. Have you run Device Monitor to see what might be draining battery?

    Yeah that is very very high. I'd Close it, see how much that helps.

    I'm not a very techy guy, sorry how do I close the AP? And if I close it will it affect any applications? I mainly use the device for calls, emails and waze?

    I have many Android apps, and as a result it takes about 45 minutes for the Android Runtime to settle after a reboot. (longer if for the first time).

    Try a hard reset (both volume buttons until reboot), and then leave the phone alone for about an hour.

    Then check your device monitor.

    Try to delete some android app store I experienced that also I delete some of it and it comes back to normal
