If the phone is password protected and encrypted then the answer is no. If your handset has neither of these protections, then anything on the phone, and any SD card, are accessible to anyone.
With a password, anything on the device will be wiped after ten consecutive incorrect password entries. If you have BlackBerry Protect installed, you could try to track down the device, lock it, or even wipe the device remotely.

Rthonpm hit every point I would mention. If BlackBerry Protect is enabled, even without pw, you can remote lock and add a pw and search your device location via gps, rather accurately I might add, provided the phone is charged.
