With Blackberry Link installed and running on your PC, plug your q10 in using the usb cable. Then hold the power button down for 20-30 seconds until the phone resets. Hopefully, then your computer will recognize the q10 and you can reload to factory setting using Blackberry Link. You can also try removing the battery, then re-inserting as you plug the phone into your computer with the usb cable. If you are patient you will eventually get Blackberry Link to reload. It took me a few times to do this with my z10 (which had no working power button!). Good Luck! Oh and by the way, when doing a security wipe make sure that you have de-encrypted your device (if it is encrypted) and remove your sd card (if you have one). The security wipe should not take more than a couple of hours, so my advice to anyone who has had it running for a few days is to stop wasting time, cancel this process and use BL to do a factory reset.
