My 9700 screen has Turner to White, is Therese anything i can do?

I had this happen to a 9780, and if I recall correctly, the repair shop said it was a motherboard issue.

I'll assume you have tried battery pulls and connecting the phone to a computer. Given the age of the phone, a repair might not be worth it.
