[CrackBerry Question]

Hey friends!

I have seen this behaviour while using any headset on by BBSE. For a few days the mute/unmute key would work just fine. And then it would become intermittent.

Sometimes the keypress is recognised by the device (for accepting, muting, unmuting, and long-press hanging up) and sometimes it is not. This is a nightmare as I always use my headphone and the phone is usually away from my body/hands.

I have confirmed that the headset is fine by testing it on an android phone I have. The button functions just fine and this is a merely one month old decent headset from Philips. Has anyone else faced this issue as well? I have tried cleaning the inside of the headset jack somewhat and that has not helped.
