I have a Passport and set of bose headphones which I normally use for handsfree as well as listening to music. Today the music wasn't coming from the headphones but the speaker. I checked the connection and the headphones and they're both fine.

Any ideas?

Did you check the Audio Menu from the Now Playing View?

I tried playing music and changing the Audio Now Playing setting through the BB Music app from 'Speaker' to 'Headset'. No change at all.
I've replicated the problem with BB's premium earphone set also.

OMG I use my Bose QC20i also and I have been experiencing the same thing happening on my BlackBerry Classic and Passport also.
I went to the Bose store and tried on both the demo units of the QC20 and QC20i and it repeated once again.
A simple softboot solves the problem or removing the earphones and putting them back in a few times solves it.
But it re-occurs eventually.

Yes I was able to get it working after a reboot eventually too.
The only thing i'd changed was that i'd installed a podcast application, but never used it. Maybe it messed with something. Anyway, glad it's working again.

Definitely not the application. As long as it plays eventually, it's fine for now.
