Is there any App that plays music files straight from the File Manager, I'm talking the whole folder and not just each file individually. I hate having to manually tap track2, listen, tap track3, listen and so on.

You want an app that plays music when you're in the file manager app? I'm not sure how that would work.

I want an App that would enable me to select one of my albums in the File Manager and then play it as it is, track after track automatically without me having to press play on the next track to play

The file manager app does not have that functionality.

What you're asking for is the equivalent of asking if there is a stocks app that opens every time you tap a colour bomb in candy crush. Either the candy crush app has that programmed in or not.

I would suggest just looking for a music player that better suits your needs. There are tons of Android ones that are quite versatile.

Why are you not using the music app that came installed on your phone? Whatever you have in the file manager automatically shows up in the music app and allows you to play anything, any way that you want.

I have downloaded tracks from the same album from different sites, so the album is neatly saved in one folder in File Manager BUT the tracks are everywhere in the Music Player, hence my reluctance to use the Music Player

Your problem is with the metadata on your files. The music app uses those to catalogue your files by artist, album, cover art, etc. There are plenty of programmes like Media Monkey, or even Audacity available on your computer that will allow you to edit the information so that all of your tracks for a single album have the same information and are seen as a contiguous album by the music app.

Thanks rthonpm. Will try the said Programmes. Any specific site or just a matter of Googling 'Media Monkey'

I generally use ninite.com which will also allow to download the latest version of a lot of common software from one downloaded file.

If metadata or "tags" are your only problem, I recommend a Windows program called "Mp3tag". Audacity isn't recommend for editing lossy audio files like MP3 because saving the edited file would result in the file encoded again, and you will lose 2x of the sound quality in the process.

I can play a whole folder of music thru the music player. Not thru file manager.
