Hi there! I have installed Wynk music and Hungama music on my z10 with OS 10.3.3.1463 from the website apk4blackberry. The apps were working fine. Then I installed the google play store from Cobalt232.github.io. It has been successfully installed. But after play store installation when I go back to Wynk/Hingama app it shows "Wynk music relies on google play services, which is not supported on your device." That's funny as well as annoying. When there is no play store the apps run fine. But when I installed the play store the apps say- you don't have play store. Help please...

Note: I tried uninstalling the play store. The apps run fine again. Then I install the playstore again. It stopped working.

Patch the apps on your PC according to Cobalt's instructions.

Or remove Play Services and revert to login 4.3.3.

I have also figured out one way to get genuine apks from playstore.

Step 1- get xender.apk by Bluetooth from any android device.

Step 2- install the app on that device from play store and share it through xender.

It is working. (the only problem is I have to connect manually to wifi hotspot). I think in this way I shall get genuine apks.

Then you don't install play store it is not necessary for you or your mobile. You can download amazon app store or you can download any apk from web and install it.

    Or just use Yalp.

    https://github.com/yeriomin/YalpStore

Don't forget that ONLY Cobalt's solution gives you the ability to run apps that require Google Play Services - which have become the majority these days.

    Cobalt's file share:

    https://mega.nz/#F!lIUWjSSQ!yoLoiNX3PNG3Sef1Fa_fMA

    Install and login with 4.3.3.
    Install and register with 2.8.
    Install Play Services v10.
    Update 4.4.4 over 4.3.3 (but don't open).

    Install Play Store v6 build2

    Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.

If an app requires Google Play Services:
Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
    Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.

    Install patched app.

If after all that, your app still won't work, then it's simply not compatible with BB10.

Thanks A lot #conite , I shall give it a try next week. I just have one more final question. How safe is cobalt's playstore? Does the developer have my google passwords and can control my account if he/she wish?

It's the Google Play Store. Only Google gets your info.
