Security wipe new q10
Start it up with my bbid
Log into BBM and app world
Log into emails.

Seems basic enough am I missing anything.

From where did you obtain the "new" Q10. If it belonged to someone else, you need to have the seller remove the device from his online BlackBerry Protect, or provide you with HIS BBID so you can do it yourself.

Otherwise, you'd be the proud owner of a new brick.

Yeah first you want to remove BlackBerry Protect and any unlock passwords... Make SURE she has gotten everything off the phone that she needs or wants.

Then wipe it or just reload the OS using LINK. Now if you are moving from your Q10 to her Q10, you can also use LINK to do a device switch.
