Can anyone recommend a good movie app? Flixster just doesn't seem to work well anymore.

Netflix works just fine. You could try that, unless your looking for native apps.

Why not IMDB (BlackBerry World)?

The IMDB mobile site runs very well on the BB10 browser as well... not to say that their app isn't decent (I don't know but it probably is) but, considering how good their mobile site runs, I don't have a need for the app. You can easily add a shortcut to your homescreen and it will open the browser straight to their main page, almost identical to how an 'app' will behave.

I used to have the app, but I've found that this is my preferred choice of accessing most services now. The sooner you can find 'alternatives' to apps, the more future-proof you will make your BB10 experience.

It doesn't apply to a movie app per-se, but when it comes to things like Paypal or banking or pretty much anything that might use sensitive data, I feel more secure on a website than using an outdated version of an application which, in many cases, BB10-compatible ones are just that, unfortunately.
