    I just read that BlackBerry and Optiemus had signed a deal... where Optiemus will build their own BlackBerry branded phones to sell in India, Sir Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. So no, I doubt you'll "officially" see the Mercury there as TCL doesn't have the RIGHT to do so.

    But it might be possible that TCL doesn't have exclusive rights to the MERCURY design..... but the article did seem to indicate that Optiemus would be focusing on lower cost devices.
