    Hello boys and girls,

The 22 of December I'm moving from Argentina to Ecuador for a couple of years. The thing is, in Ecuador BlackBerry maps is not available and I need a very good replacement for it.

Could you be so kind and help me choose.
I don't care if it is a paid app. Just looking for something that works.

    Best regards

UPDATE: DON'T WANT TO USE ANDROID MAPS. HAS TO BE FROM BB WORLD

I use Osmand, great tool. I use it primarily for hiking. Uses open street maps.

I think BeMaps is a decent app...finds locations accurately, but BeMaps does NOT have spoken turn-by-turn. It transfers you to BlackBerry Maps, which doesn't always have the address that you found in BeMaps. Unfortunately for me I did not know that until I already spent the $6.35 and no one at the developer will contact me to discuss a refund or anything. So if you would like a stand alone TALKING GPS application, BeMaps is not it.

If you're into sideloading and such, download all of Cobalt's Google fixes and get Google Maps from the Play Store. I just did it and Google Maps works great!

    Good luck!

Be maps is a decent alternative to BlackBerry maps. Have not tried Osmand yet but will.

Didn't like any Maps application offered in BBW to be honest. Too many inconsistencies; and when youre lost in a foreign country, the last thing you need is a map application thats slow and outdated.
