    Hi Crackberry,,

Could you please help me resolve the problem with the local camera app of my BBZ10 ver.10.2.1?

I was exploring my device and saw a parental control settings, I tried activating it and on the options I turned off some local apps including the "Camera and Video Features" just to check how the patental control works.

That is where the problem started, when I went back to the home screen I noticed that I don't have the camera launcher anymore so I thought that was because I turned off the camera features on the parental control, but when I set everything in parental control back to default settings my camera does not work anymore.

What kind of problem is this and how do I resolve it?

Right now, I'm using an android camera apps just to take photos but it is so difficult share and use the pictures if its not taken from the local camera app.

I hope I can get this fixed with your help... Thnx!

have you rebooted your phone? The camera still didn't show up? Maybe the OS needs to be reloaded......

Not sure why you enable the camera again but it kinda make sense. If you disable it for a reason you might not want someone turning it on again. I'd back up the device and do a factory reset if all else fails. You could restore the data but not the settings.

Can't answer your question, but there is another camera icon. I put mine in a folder marked unused. Hopefully you didn't delete it. Check all your home screen pages and folders.

Just turned off camera I'm parental controls on mine, then switched it back on OK with no problem. Not sure why yours won't go back on, but now I've found a way to stop accidentally activating the camera when I pick up my phone. Thanks! : )
