Hi there -- I don't normally use BlackBerry Link, and I'm not likely to anymore (at least for media). I plugged in my phone via USB and Link opened and began an automatic backup. An hour passes and I come back to my laptop (OSX El Capitan) which had automatically logged me out because I was away, and the backup is in perpetual hang. I cancelled the process. Later in the day, I notice that *all* of my BB photos on my media card are gone except for those which mirror what's on my phone.

    What happened?

Curiously, while checking the media card's storage info, while there's not much listed under photos, there's 1.5G in Other Data -- could this be it? If so, how might I recover it?

    Thanks for any help.

Hard to say what really happened. Have you tried checking the card on your computer?

Recover photoIf you have synced the photos in a Cloud account like Google photo, then you can begin to recover photos.
