Presuming that I can no longer access WhatsApp on my Blackberry Classic in due course is it feasible to ask my provider for a duplicate sim to use in an android phone to access WhatsApp using the BlackBerry for everything else? I use WhatsApp a lot and would hate to mention my Blackberry.
So I tried to install the android version, this does report No play services installed and hangs in the backup-searching. If I patched the apk there comes no play service message, but from WhatsApp a message that the apk was changed/manipulated...

Carrier's don't want/allow you to use 2 Sims simultaneously. After 31.12 the Android version should still work, search the forums for a link to "WAA fixer" which will fix the problems with media sharing.

all hang after sms searching for backup, with the pop-up off missing Play-Services...
I think a fresh installation from android whatsapp is a problem, with GBWhatsapp it works when I skip the backup (with this version you can unscribe the Backup-search)...
