Dear Crackberrians, first of all Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to all!

I am looking for a sound track of air just flowing (not like a storm, just calm wind), as the sound of an air conditioned working. That or any other suggested very flat noise that helps to sleep. I just moved in to a new place and we love it, except that in our new place we can hear some street noise (we were spoiled in our old totally quiet home). I use ears plugs but my wife don't like them and something that helps me in my business trips is a proper working air conditioned device in the hotels, it's amazing how that masks the noise behind. Once you turn it off you hear all the noise that you didn't notice before. So if someone can tell me where can I find a list of this kind of sound tracks would be great. Thanks a lot!

Lots of stuff like that on Amazon, just search "white noise CD" - several different kinds of sounds, some with rain, etc.

I understand 100%. I sleep with a small but powerful fan on every night regardless of the season. Have horrible tinnitus (ringing in the ears) so I can't stand for the room to be silent, and also means using earplugs doesn't help me.

    You should try "RelaxBook nature"
Really, really nice app, helps me to fall asleep very soon.

Edit: oh, sorry. You searched for sounds of climate engines, I unterstand that just after the second reading But maybe it helps you in the evening

In the Amazon Appstore, look for White Noise by TMSoft.

Nice! Even better than having to get a CD. Didn't know there were apps.
