    how do you change the letter Q 'shortcut' key that switches between normal notification mode and silent mode to normal and vibrate only on the blackberry classic ,I want an easy way to change from normal to vibrate only mode since there is no more 'in holster' in the blackberry 10 device OS

    The Classic comes stock with 10.3.0.

    And as far as I've been reading the news, only certain carriers have rolled out 10.3.1 for the Classic.

    This is not correct, the classic is sold with 10.3.1 out of the box.

    under notifications, quick settings... and even after a reboot it still doesn't change the setting to vibrate only, just normal to silent

    Try this. Go to settings notifications. Select normal then select vibrate, then back to normal.

    Exit and go to quick settings and try to cycle see what it does then. That's how it works on 10.2.1. So maybe 10.3.0 is still that way.

    10.3.1 would be as stated previously.
