I have installed an O2 sim card and I can call and text. What I can't do is set up emails as I dont have an activation password.

Can anyone point me in the right direction!!!

No just a standard O2 monthly tarriff

I've just read that O2 have now closed their BBM services hence why I can't access e-mail.... bugger!

I understand that Tesco mobile PAYG sims work in the BB 9800 but I still don't understand how to set up the e-mail as I haven't got the option to add an email account!!!

BBM is a standalone messaging service.

BIS is the special data plan from your carrier that the phone requires to get email, internet and BBM. It's likely the BIS service that your carrier no longer offers.

Although few carriers still offer it, BlackBerry is shutting it all down at the end of the year anyway.
