When I have my location services turned on but not using maps or anything, it drains my battery. That's what device monitor tells me, does anyone experience this problem too? And is there a way to fix it?

I imagine is USES battery but drains it? I don't see that on my Z30 with 1154

No ,it does not drain battery on my Z10. I used to have this problem only on my Android phones. I'm glad BlackBerry figured out to use GPS only when needed.

What I meant when I said drains it, is that it uses huge percentage of the battery in one charge

There might be some other apps using it. For instance, if you geo-tag pictures, the camera app would use it. BB Protect might use it to keep tabs on your phone.

Look at some of the other screens in Device Monitor and see what the cpu shows is also running.

I leave it on all of the time and it does not really deplete the battery much. Have you tried rebooting? Also what version and what OS are you using?

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above
