    I just updated to 10.3.1.1581 on my z30 and now I have the location service icon always showing. Is this now normal? All my apps are closed.

    You could go to Settings -- Location Service and switch it off. Usually displays if an app in the background is tracking location.

    Ya but then none of the apps will work properly of I turn it off. There must be a app using it somewhere.

    Go to Settings - App Manager - Application Permissions - Locations from drop down menu.

    Yes, the apps may switch off a crucial feature if you turn it off.

    I did that but it doesn't tell u which one is running right now. Only tells you which ones have permissions

    If you have android apps installed they run in the background. Download permissions manager app ops by openview mobile to block location tracking

    How is a Permissions Manager app different from the in-built Permissions Manager?

    And how did that find the app? Does it have an extra function to tell which app is running in the background? If it does, how does it differ from that 'Running in background' option?
