Hey everyone,

My device was having a few issues, so I backed up my q10 on link.

Then I went to restore the bacjup file and i get this:

"The BlackBerry ID associated with this backup file does not match the BlackBerry ID on this device. The following data could not be restored:
Application Data
Media
Device Settings and Local Contacts/Calendar Data"

Please help!!!!

All you had to do was log in using your BlackBerry id on both your phone and BlackBerry link.

I am getting the same message and I have logged on to link and device using the same BlackBerry id. Can someone help

I performed a factory reset again on Q5 and this error was gone

I wiped the device several times. Spoke to BlackBerry help desk for literally hours. We could not get the error message to clear. I have another Z10 and I backed it up to try to see if I could bring that info back and it did work. No one is sure why this phone is having such problems. Very frustrating
