[CrackBerry Question]

Hi All

I have been browsing the site for a while but could not find this issue with others.

I have a Keyone BBB100-2 running on Android 8.1.0.
Build ABT975

Basically I have this issue for a year now. Maybe it was not an issue for the first few months since I bought it.

I cannot see my favorites, I dont see my history either nor I can browse thru my contacts. For some reason I have abot 2400 contacts instead of about a 100. All the contacts are tripled or rather multiplied by 10. The whole menu is very slow.

Clearing cache did not help.
Third party phone app did not help either.
32 sec reset did not help.

Textra did work as a workaround for only the messages.

Any idea?

Are you syncing contacts with Google? If so, check and see if they're duplicated there. If they're not, do a factory reset, something is buggered up. Realistically, should do a reset either way.

Did a reset about 6 months ago, it did not really help. I think it helped for a day or so then all went the same way crappy.

Managed to find out that I have now 21000 contacts. Regardless which app I try, I just cannot remove them. All of them times out during processing. Grrrrr
