    My new Passport's keyboard (~5wks old) does not light up (backlight), but I could have sworn that it did right out of the box.

    Yes, The BlackBerry Passport Keyboard does light up. If you are having issues with it lighting up. Try a reboot, if that doesn't work, try searching for a New OS Update.

    Definitely a software issue, as I'm sure the LEDs have not broken in a couple weeks. Unless you got it wet or something
