Hi,

On the Key2, is there a way to use the convenience key/speed key/keyboard (without touching the screen ever) to not just launch apps but perform functions immediately? For example:

toggle the loudspeaker on and off while on a telephone call
record audio (not just launch an app, but recording function starts immediately after pressing a key)

Out of the box, not really. But a combination of button mapper and Tasker would help you get there.

Are button mapper and Tasker apps on the Google play store? If so, won't they help me get me there on any Android phone?
