Hi

I have searched (not very well) for the following situation.

I purchased a Key 2 from China. It came with the google bundle and playstore installed. I decided to do a firmware reset to get rid of any lingering items.

Unfortunately it reset the device to the Chinese OS. I managed to change to English but I can't seem to figure our how to install the playstore or google apps.

1. Is there a way I can change the OS to a North American OS?
2. Anyone else experience the issues I have and figured out how to get the device to install Google apps especially the playstore?

Strange that is came with Google bundled... was this a used phone?

You have to use the OS for that variant...

As for the PlayStore... have you tried installing it from APK Mirror? I know some recommended the instructions that can be found here 黑莓手机爱好者-Berrylink-黑莓KEYone Blackberry KEYone KEY2 use Google Translate.

I am guessing the guy I purchased it from was able to add them onto the device.

I am trying to see if I can loan a North American OS like we used to in the BB10 days.
