Runs great? Not my experience. Runs like crap on my Passport.

Lol. The user experience seems nice so far. Like this morning I woke up and I opened it up and it automatically showed (see pic below). I thought that was nice. It was keeping me in the know.

Perhaps my assistant can do this as well? I've looked and wasn't successful. If you hv any quick tips on utilizing my assistant please share.

It's works fine but can't beat BlackBerry Assistant.

I say "open facebook" and cortana displays bing/google search results.
Cortana expects me to say words like "send a Facebook message to" or "call 1800xxxxx" or stuff like that.

Ridiculous. It can't even play a song from my music library. I wonder how it really works on an android device.

Device search?
Setting alarms?
Creating reminders?
Playing your music by song and/or artist or album?
Create reminders?

The BlackBerry assistant uses Wolfram alpha to answer questions (ie. It isn't BlackBerry) so Q&A will be as good as Wolfram alpha is.

Unless Cortana can leverage some local device functions/services it's less than the assistant you already have.

It couldn't read my calandar on my phone or even Outlook. But it could tell me the weather. I've deleted her. I really have no need for these things other than reading my new messages while I'm driving. I'll stick to Assistant.

honestly, it's not meant to integrate with your calendar or music apps. perhaps whatever android apps you have on your phone it could integrate with. but this will in no way replace BB10's Assistant. Really did wish we have native options though. Whatever happened to SayIt on PB and BB10?

It offers a Premium version to buy for $18 yearly or $20 Lifetime (but just today, although it said "just today" yesterday, too) I think I'll hold on that offer, for now.

The mike seems inconsistent--sometimes works when you tap it, sometimes not.

I asked it to tell me a joke and it did!!! The main thing I could NOT get it to do was to open apps on my Passport.

So it really just tells you a joke... But no integration in BB10... Pretty senseless if you ask me...

Bla1ze...Installation of CORTANA on my BlackBerry passport caused interference with assistant no longer accepting questions or producing responses after which I used app killer to shut CORTANA down.. BlackBerry assistant now works but seems slow to respond. Is this common experience.

Trouble recognizing my voice. Had to close Cortana to fix. But I have found for me personally than Cortana more accurately understands what I say

It works amazing on my VZW Z30... it makes calls...I can text and understands a lot of stuff flawlessly. Very impressed. Have to restart phone because the first time it was just laggy and I couldn't hear the voice.
