I've reloaded my BlackBerry Priv yet it still doesn't boot. Now what?

Good morning, and happy New Year!

I'm hoping someone can help here as I can't contact Blackberry Customer Support today, probably due to bank holiday in the UK.

Basically, my BlackBerry Priv died yesterday. I plugged on the USB charger in my car, screen went black, end of story. Haven't been able to reboot it since.

I've tried pretty much every proposed solution I've read so far: hold power button 15 sec. hold power button 32 sec. Hold power button a million sec. Hold power button 15 sec when plugged using the original BB charger and cable., you name it.

As nothing seemed to work, I decided to reload the software and wipe the whole thing, following the steps provided on the BlackBerry official website.

Everything went well, no errors messages, device swipped... except I still can't boot the phone! When I press on power like I usually would, the screen doesn't turn on and there's no LED activity.

I've reached my limit now and simply don't know what to do.

Funny thing is, my warranty will expire tomorrow (literally the 03/01/2017) and I can't reach someone from Blackberry today to get support for my problem.

Does anybody here have any idea? I'd be immensely grateful, thank you! And have a great one!

Strange tail - odd.

You had to recharge because the bb died from a natural cause - flat battery?
So you put is on charge and - nothing?
No sign of charge?
You the reinstalled the software?
no indications of life?

Thank you for your reply.

Basically I plugged the phone on my USB charger in my car and it died. Simple as that.

Since then, the only indications I have it's not COMPLETELY dead are:
- it vibrates when I hold the power button long enough.
- there's sometimes LED activity: e.g., I know I'm in fastboot mode when holding power and lower volume keys as the LED turns purple. It was blinking green when reloading the OS. The LED also turned red for a few minutes when I plugged it back to recharge, and is now yellow (not blinking).

But that's pretty much it.

When I press on power for a couple of seconds, it vibrates AS IF it was powering but then there's no activity whatsoever: screen doesn't turn on, no more LED activity, nothing.

I'm thinking the screen itself might be dead, but shouldn't I at least have LED activity if it was booting?

Reloading the OS went seamlessly by the way. Did it twice just in case but no change.

Any suggestions welcome. :-)

Plug in to TV using slimport cable see if the screen is dead?
