i have bb z10...recently i updated to latest os and then onwards i have been facing a problem in which the internet connectivity is disabled during calls. i am from india and vodafone is service provider, vodafone says this is handset problem...please help.

Everyone faces this issue - that's because the voice radio interferes with the internet radio.

In the USA we have CDMA networks which are different from GSM networks. It was always no talking and surfing at the same time. The network can not do it.

With LTE however now those networks can. What system does your carrier use? And do you have LTE?

but let me tell you that i used to get all the notifications during calls one week before such as whatsapp, gtalk , bbm etc.. after upgrading OS i am facing this problem

i have GSM CONNECTION provided by vodafone

What is your OS version and what type of connection is your phone showing at top? It says 4GLTE, LTE, 4G, 3G?

This actually happens with me. Whenever I get a call, my phone automatically turns the internet off. People who connect to me via Hotspot also gets disconnected too.

If the internet will still run while i'm in a call BUT it will affect my call/voice quality for the person on the other line, i'd rather have it this way.

Should still work if it's GSM but not sure. Is the phone branded by them or an unlocked one?

Ok. See you have st001. That doesn't have LTE.

Not me, Crackberry questions has the 3G/ LTE issue. I prefer the Internet radio off during calls

i have latest 10.2.1.2941 OS and i usually keep it on EDGE . when i have to surf and download than i keep it on 3G. but in EDGE too i used to get the notifications during call

Doesn't matter if it's branded or not, unless it's LTE, it's not gonna work on 2 or 3 G or unless it's a Z30

Pritam: not an expert, but noticed one thing after your post. I face the same problem! I think this could be because of reception issues

I'm on Airtel India. I had similar situation with Edge but it is not the case with H+ or 3G. Mine is z10 stl 100-1

Thanks friends for your help but as you know that 3g consumes so much battery and further there is very less chance that you will be in 3g network all time... so that's why I keep it on edge and when I need to surf or download I switch it to 3g. please help how can I avail the previous facilities... also to include that I just upgraded my os this morning and now the pictures are not visible in pic folder though they are there if you click on the pic.. thanks
