I called customer support to cancel the insurance on my priv and add it to the dtek60. Both were purchased from shop BlackBerry, but they said they didn't have an insurance plan for the dtek60...that seems odd..any suggestions?

Call them again and if you receive the same response ask to speak to that person's supervisor.
