How can i download the updated version of instagram for my q10? I downloaded the original from a link in the forums but not sure where. Can anyone help? Is there an android store app to download that is similar to bb world that allows me to download the apps from their store?

What version of BB10 are you using?

If you go ahead and install a LEAK 10.3.1.xxxx (1155 is a good one), then install the SNAP app you can install the latest version directly from Google Play... and any future updates.

If you don't want to do that... you'll at least need to let us know what OS you are on and what version of Instagram you have.

I'm still on bb v 10.2.1.3014 and Instagram isn't very clear what version I'm on as when I click on about this version it lists the "libraries" they use vs just giving me a version #. some of the libraries have a copyright of 2011 and some earlier. I installed it about 3 months ago from a link on one of your forums. I only know there is an updated version bc of my ipad. Is it better to wait for 10.3 and if so when will it be released?

I am using an older version of Instagram on my Passport, and it works better than the latest version from Snap. No notifications, but it stays open.

so it sounds like I'm better off holding off till maybe the new q10 OS is out? the only downside to the current app I was hoping would change in the future app is some of the forced cropping. I have to mail it to my ipad to get the entire photo in sometimes even when taken in the portrait position and some of the new filters are missing.
