[CrackBerry Question]

Hello! I'm thinking about buying a Blackberry z30 and my carrier is MetroPCS.I was wondering if anyone knows if the Sta100-5 z30 model works on the MetroPCS service?T-mobile and MetroPCS are now one network.Any help appreciated, Thank you!

This is the Galaxy S5 that's advertised as being for MetroPCS: Samsung Galaxy S ® 5 (MetroPCS), Charcoal Black

LTE: Band 1/2/3/5/7/8/4/17; HSPA+/UMTS: 850/1700/AWS/1900/2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz

Since there are no CDMA bands listed, it's safe to assume that Metro has transitioned to using TMO's GSM and LTE networks. And from what I've read in the CB forums here, the Z30 -5 works great on the three TMO networks this Z30 -5 has the bands for (UMTS 1700, 1900, LTE b4.)

For anyone else: Just received a z30 (sta 100-5) as a gift only to have Metro PCS tell me they don't activate Blackberry. I'm the biggest noob you've never met. So if you can direct me to an appropriate source that would be great.

Get a Metro SIM card and put it in your phone. Maybe test one of their cards out at a store. You should be good to go, as the phone should "configure" itself. If not, come back and we'll help you.
