    Actually, the correct option is that you can not uninstall BBM on a BlackBerry device. If you are asking about on a different platform, Android or iPhone, then the messages will be retained for I believe 72 hours max on the RIM Noc servers then they are discarded.

    You can disable BBM through parental controls. And that removes BBM from the device.
