I got a new z30 which I started using yesterday, but I must say compared to the battery performance I expected from a 2880 maH battery, it's been performing terribly. The battery after the first charge didn't last me 12 hours of average usage. I'm on the second charge now, and I didn't use it for 10 minutes that my battery dropped to 95%. SOS!!!

The device is new, this is perfectly normal. Give the battery a couple days and it will improve. You device is setting up accounts and doing It's "first boot process"

The device will take 24 to 48 hours to sync accounts and what not. My Z30 lasts on average 15 hours. That is little use at work bbm and emails heavy use at home, gaming and video playing.

If you are using a ton of android apps you will drain the battery very quickly too.
