    I think my BB is on call forward. it rings once or twice and then sends the call to voicemail

    Tap the three vertical dots. (overflow menu)
    Tap settings.

    Sounds like it is probably on "forward if unanswered". You can configure forwarding from the phone's menus - but you didn't say which model of BlackBerry and your carrier so we can't tell you exactly where to look. If you can't find it, the most common keyboard codes for Forward if Unanswered are:

    Report status: *#61# then <green/call key>
    Turn Off: #61# <green/call key>
