I now have the latest software, but all the applications do not work correctly and I cannot put the google account in emails. I can't connect to blackberry id. bb world does not work.

Welcome to BlackBerry and CrackBerry.

BlackBerry shutdown their servers the first of the year. BBID and BBWorld are no more, and some apps will no longer work.
Latest OS was a minor tweak release near five years ago so - browsers and email systems don't like it.

Should still be able to do Gmail... requires a app password for less secure apps and then manual setup of the account.

Can also install Android Apps that support Android 4.3..... some of those will work.
