I lost my device - how do I delete the BlackBerry email account?

I lost my Blackberry. I was able to back up the data, but not recover the device, and after looking at the Priv, I decided to get a non-Blackberry replacement.

The phone was set up to get my work emails. This was not set up through my work email setting (i.e. a forwarding rule), it was set up through the Blackberry somehow. I no longer have the phone, the phone doesn't have my sim card - but people who send me emails get non-delivery messages from my blackberry email account.

If i sign in to my blackberry ID, there is no email option anywhere. I have, out of frustration, deleted my old phone, data, and blackberry protect account, to no avail.

How do i get rid of that account??? Or at least the non-delivery messages?

Sounds more like you had an old BES account with a @blackberry.com email address that you were somehow forwarding your work emails to... instead of adding you work account to BIS/BES.

Have someone send you a copy of the non-delivery message and look at the routing. Check your work email account (server) and see if the forwarding is setup there.

Now if people are sending emails directly to an @blackberry.com email... you'll have to get all of them to change to your real email.

Go to : https://blackberryid.blackberry.com/...&locale=ZW4%3D and sign in. From there you can wipe your device etc etc.
