    I left Android and went back to BB because I was so sick of having apps forced on me with mindbending permissions that could not be changed and the user could not be deleted. The lastest upgrade of OS 10 seems to have done the same thing by installing Amazon and I am furious. I opened it after the popup told me that I can change the permissions which is baloney. I don't want Amazon to have access to virtually everything on my phone. Please help me get rid of it.

    Just turn off the run in background, that's about it, it is baked in the OS......

    Correct. Cannot delete it. I recommend not signing in, hide the icon in a junk folder
