    if the phone is not on, you can't find it. BB Protect won't even find your device if it's a BB10 OS or greater.

    If the phone is off it can't be found, but any BlackBerry device can be located with BlackBerry Protect, including BlackBerry 10, if the phone is on and is connected to the internet

    Android BlackBerry devices use google's device manager.

    I agree she probably left out a "not" between "if" and "it's".... but technically it's still correct. If the phone is off, there is nothing that can be done no matter the OS. Which is what they asked about.
