every time i call my contact on bbm

it only keeps saying contact not available try again later

when i messaged this contact i'm only seeing one check mark as well

i only have one bbm contact

so i can't try on any other contact to see if it's doing the same thing

its been happening for 3 or 4 days

does this mean they are offline

does it mean they're having internet problems?

or their Sim card ran out?

or the weather

the reason i ask about these 5 questions above

is because I'm wondering if its bbm

or if it's happening on my contacts side

i hope i can get help with my questions thank you

Are you and the contact still really contacts? Maybe they've given up on BBM and moved to WhatsApp?

Sounds like they've logged out from BBM or maybe switched devices and old device is no longer active.

I would guess that your contact is no longer using that phone. It could have broken, got lost/or stolen, or whatever.

It is unfortunate that you don't have another way of communicating with your friend.
