I have a blackberry curve 8520 and usually have no problems regarding connection to network or signal. Yesterday afternoon out of the blue my phone started saying "searching for network" as if I had no signal. I assumed I was in a dodgy area, until I got home and it still continued to say it, despite never having an issue in this area. Now it's saying "no service" and there is an "X" in the signal box. I can't ring virgin mobile obviously, and I can't get to a shop today and it's pretty urgent. If someone knows whats going on please help me! thank you

Don't you have access to another phone so you can call virgin? Other than calling your carrier I don't know what you can do?

Tried a battery pull? Or alt+shift+delete ( If I recall correctly that's what it take to do a soft reboot)

It's pretty normal for BlackBerry. Turn off / on your network connection to refresh.
