The phone has full function. No one in my area of Rhode Island repairs BlackBerrys. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you considered repairing it yourself?

Etradesupply is a great source for parts or eBay.

Buy a used PRIV on eBay or the Marketplace, by the time you get a $275 screen and pay someone $ 75 to replace it.... you'd have spent just as much.

And sell yours to mainely_linux. He's a good guy.

I wish these companies would make it easier to do like a few screws and pull out and plug in a new one and screw back in.
U would think by nowi it would become the standard and the phone companies can sell the parts.

They would rather sell whole new phones....

Changing out a screen isn't all that hard, watch a video or the guy at the Mall do it... only takes about 20 Min. And for many common devices a new screen can be had for $50 - $150 bucks.

The key is to own a phone that is "common" enough for there to be and "aftermarket" built up to support it.

The lg g5 literally has two screws and a flex cable. . Change in 5 minutes or less. Okay so 7 screws and 5 flex ribbons. But still , super easy and fast . Even faster than the bb10 devices. Which are super easy to fix as well
