    I always give people my pin to add to their BB contacts because I don't know how to add a new pin to my BB contact

    If you're on BlackBerry 10:

    • BBM > Left menu > Invitations > Add Contact
    • BBM > Left menu > Invitations > Search Barcode


    I particularly like Add by NFC, but PIN, email and SMS are there too.

    Barcode is the easiest if you ask me.
